Which Tent Is Best For A Portable Sauna?
I read on a online website that you can make a portable sauna with the heater and a tent. Which tent would be best for it? Money Range $20- $30….. I already have the heater…..
For $20-30 you’re not going to get a very good tent. You’re probably going to have to make your own out of plastic or tarps.
When you are choosing, make sure you know that the material you are using won’t degrade at your sauna’s temperature. Cotton canvas, nylon, polypropylene, and polyesters are good choices. All of these have use limits above 200°F.
Polyethylene is a really bad choice because some grades can melt at as low as 140°F. Many low-end camping tents are made at least partially from Polyethylene. Vinyls like PVC are also a bad choice because, while they do not break down, they emit toxic chemicals.
