New Home and Window Insulation?
I purchased a new home about eight months ago and discovered that my windows that were installed are not insulated. The windows facing my bedroom are scalding hot to the touch and make my bedroom like a sauna. Winter is approaching, and I don’t have a single clue on what to do about this problem. My electricity bill last winter was outrageous and need some tips or items I can use to help the cause. Thanks everyone!
They sell kits of clear plastic it looks really thin but it gets the job done. You take a hair dryer to it after it is installed tightens it up so no air moves threw it.
In NZ you can put in foam insulation blocks or a product called Space Invader which is an expanding filler.
