I Am Gonna Sleep in My Uncle's Sauna Every Night, Is This a Good Way to Lose Weight?
I hate exercise and I want to eat whatever I want so can I kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, by getting my sleep and sweating for 8 hours at the same time? Don’t worry I’ll bring plenty of water.
Using a sauna is an excellent idea, but sleeping in it every night is not! Perhaps you could use it for 30-40 minutes to relax before you go to bed and then get a good night’s sleep. That would be better than sleeping in the sauna and having to wake up to drink water all night. And that is what you would need to do to keep adequately hydrated. Not getting adequate sleep will work against your endeavor to lose weight.
Um no that won’t do a thing. The most effective thing is excersize! You can eat 5000 calories a day and be tiny if you excersize the right amount off! Try a new sport especially swimming or join a local fitness club. Running about a mile everyday is easy and efficient too! Try doing all this with a friend though to help you stay on sheduale and make it easier! Also, keep track of your average calorie intake each day. Buy a calorie counter book (even one for fast food restaurants) and bring that and some paper with you everywhere you go! Calculate the amount you eat in a day when you are not thinking about cutting down or dieting. Then lower that number by 100 each week. Doing this too fast or too much can cause weight gain! The point here is not to starve yourself! Remember, it’s not at all about what you eat but how much, although healther food will help you feel fuller. Good luck and I hope this helps!
you’ll lose weight, but it’ll just be water weight and you’ll be really dehydrated…
No, not a good idea. You could become dehydrated or worse. Cut back on what you eat and try to at least walk to burn a few extra calories. You don’t have to starve yourself – maybe start out by switching to some raw fruits or vegetables instead of a sweet snack.
