"Losing weight" by sitting in a sauna is a scam. You’ll sweat-out some water, but it’s not fat loss. Once you drink a glass of water, soda, or whatever, your body will hold-on to extra fluid to replenish the water you lost in the sauna. This will not result in any real weight loss, even if the scale shows you dropped a pound or two. It’s only temporary until you drink something; then it’ll right back on.
depends on how much water weight the person is carrying and what they weigh but I would say 5-7 lbs for sure……
i lost 3 lbs, but gained it all back

sure its water weight ……….. but doc, what about the increased heart rate?
Weightloss occurs when you burn more calories than you intake.
Eat less. Exercise more. You will lose.
The sauna is good to decrease muscle soreness and does not contribute to weight loss.
