Hello Can You Lose Weight by Using a Sauna ?

Hello , i was just wanting to know if you could lose weight by using a sauna and a steamroom aswell as excercise ?

    You can loose water weight, but that gets replaced quickly.

    The sauna removes the toxins in your body but you still have to watch what and how much you eat

    yes but mostly water weight to excell weight loss in a sauna wear sweaters

    i think it would be water weight. not actual body fat. but i suppose if you stayed in there and ate less sure.. it could help aid in your weight lose. i’d give you something relaxing to do besides eat.

    Well it is only water weight from sweating so you only lose it for a little while, and if you loose to much, you will get dehidrated (sp?) so exercise is still the best

    no, you just sweat and lost lots of water. your weight will be back to normal as soon as you drink

    If taken literally yes.

    You sweat a lot and lose quite a bit of water, so when you’re right out of the sauna, you weigh less.
    However, when you have a couple of drinks you’ll be back at the same weight again.

    You won’t burn any fat that way, to do that you have to exercise, there is no easy way to loose weight.

    yes you can, though it’s not sustainable because all you loose is water because you’re sweating. However, sauna is healthy so if you’re on a diet and you work out a lot going to the sauna will support your effort in living healthier and, therefore, losing weight.
