Can Saunas Assist in Weight Loss or Is It Temporary?

I have a sauna at my gym and I am wondering if it is worth my time sitting in there 45 mins. everytime I go to the gym, or if it is a waste..

Water weight loss is always temporary.

A waste of time if you are trying to lose weight. All you are doing is sweating. As soon as you leave the sauna and drink something, the water will be right back.

I’m pretty sure it’s temporary, you just lose water through sweat

The main weight will be water and the amount is to insignificant to even bother. Basically, people use saunas to open the pores and respiratory passage. As for weight loss, it’s a waste of time.

Saunas are only temporary. You loose water not fat. So once you start to drink water you’ll put the "weight" back on.

OK. I also read that the weight loss was temporery but that’s total bull. I decided to try the experiment to see if saunas really do make you lose weight like some sauna companies claim. I ate 2000 calories for one month without taking a sauna and my weight increased. However, the next month I had 2000 calories as well and my weight actually DECREASED by 5 pounds without doing anything…just a 30 minute sauna every morning. Saunas have amazing benefits, they improve your heart, any sort of chronic knee pain (seriously!), and most important, they make your skin soft, and improve your appearance instantly!!! (Especially if you’ve had a bad night sleep, and wake up pale and feeling like shitt, all you have to do is take off your clothes, wash your body well, and enter the sauna for 30 minutes…it will instantly wake you up and you’re complexion so you will not be as pale and look like crap!!!) trust me, this is why I own saunas in ALL of my homes!!!!!
