Can I Get in a Heated Pool in My First Trimester?

Hi, I just found out I’m 4 weeks pregnant and going on a cruise next week. I know you can’t get in a hot tub or sauna in the first trimester but what about a heated pool? thanks!

Yeah, it should be fine. Just check with your GP. Just like taking a lukewarm bath

It’s not recommended because the water is too hot and can raise your body temperature. The first trimester is critical since that is the formation of all major organs. I wouldn’t do anythng that could cause potential harm. A heated pool is usually not heated to the same levels as a jacuzzi and should be ok.

per a web site on google.com this is what I found for you

ยท The use of saunas, hot tubs, and tanning booths is not recommended during pregnancy. The extreme temperature could potentially harm the developing baby. Extremely hot baths are not recommended as well. Bath temperatures should be below 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

I would stay away. Public pools are fool of clorox which is not good for a pregnant woman, beside it will be full of bacterias too. Even with all that antimicrobial staff in it
